Get Ready to Vault High Next Season

Fall is one of the most important times of the year for pole vaulters. This is where athletes build the speed, strength, conditioning, body control, and vault-specific foundation needed to jump higher when the season arrives.

The AZPVA Fall Training Program is designed to help vaulters make real progress before the indoor and outdoor seasons begin. Whether you are preparing for school track, club competitions, or the Reno Pole Vault Summit in January, this program will help you build the tools you need to be ready.

Why Fall Training Matters

The athletes who make the biggest jumps in the spring usually do the right work in the fall. Pole vault is not just about taking more jumps. It requires speed on the runway, strength at takeoff, body awareness in the air, and the ability to safely handle bigger poles and higher grips.

Fall training gives vaulters the time to build those qualities before competition pressure begins. By improving athleticism now, athletes put themselves in a much better position to jump higher next season.

Prepare for the Reno Pole Vault Summit

The Reno Pole Vault Summit in January is one of the biggest and most exciting pole vault events in the world. Fall Training is a great way to prepare for the Summit by improving the physical qualities and technical foundation athletes need before competing in that environment.

Athletes planning to attend Reno will benefit from consistent preparation through the fall so they arrive stronger, faster, more confident, and ready to compete.

Training Coaches
